Prince Edward County has emerged as a preeminent cool-climate wine region since achieving official status as a Designated Viticultural Area in 2007. Our members have always been on the bleeding edge of wines and ciders in Canada, and it shows in their consistently awarded products.

Our terroir, anchored by limestone, heavy clay, cooler summers, and warmer winters has produced elegant reds, crisp whites, and fine sparkling wines for decades. While Pinot Noir, Gamay Noir, and Chardonnay remain dominant, new varietals are frequently explored for potential bounty.
