Élevage Winter Wine Festival
Join us for an unforgettable experience at Élevage, a one-of-a-kind winter wine festival taking place in Prince Edward County, ON, Canada, on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th, the first weekend of March Break. This celebration will be centred around the heart of Élevage . We will be hosting Elevated Tastings in addition toour self guided Tasting Passport, so our guests have the opportunity to celebrate Elevage and truly experience the ageing process wines go through between fermentation and bottling. A unique chance to converse with wine makers, experience the cellars and see first hand the beauty of the ageing process.

Included in your $50 ticket is 1 elevated tasting experience of your choosing and your tasting passport, with an additional 5 samples at participating wineries and cideries.

- Sugarbush Vineyards and Winery Join us on the Elevage weekend for a jam packed wine experience. Your elevated wine tour experience starts in the vineyard (weather permitting) with a introduction to how Sugarbush Vineyards got started and how it got its name. Moving into our small, but efficient winery for a talk on how we produce 2,500 cases annually from our garage! Here we will start your wine tasting experience with a couple of tank samples from the 2024 harvest. This is the vintage picked last fall and will be going into bottle sometime this summer. Finally we move into our tasting area for a tutored wine tasting with the winemaker, Rob, who will talk you through a flight of our premium wines. Light snacks paired with your wines. This is a great opportunity to get a behind the scenes look and answers to any and all questions about grape growing and wine production in beautiful Prince Edward County.
- Trail Estate Winery Preview our 2023 Estate Chardonnays! Compare the nuances in terroir in North and South Blocks as well as together as the Estate Chardonnay. This is your first chance to try these truly limited wines as well as stock up on what is proving to be an exceptional vintage for your cellar!

- Broken Stone Winery Elevage: "the art of achieving the grapes' maximum potential through barrel aging, fining and filtering. Roughly translates to "raising" in English." Raise a glass with winemaker Tim, in an exclusive backroom tasting surrounded by barrels and tanks. Enjoy a pleasant discussion with the winemaker in his workshop, tasting his wines in progress. You'll have a unique opportunity to compare oaked and unoaked Chardonnays and Pinot Noirs, with the added bonus of comparing barrel wines from two premium Closson Rd vineyards. You can taste the influence of terroir in every sip - It's a feast for the senses! For the folks interested in more technical aspects, you'll learn about different vinification techniques, whole cluster fermentation and how that translates to different aroma and flavour profiles. We look forward to hosting you at Broken Stone Winery!
- Loch Mor Cider Company Enjoy an elevated tasting experience featuring thoughtfully paired fine ciders with local cheeses. The cider's bright acidity and gentle fruit notes cut through richness, cleanse the palate, and highlight the complex flavors of both. 🍎🧀

- Closson Chase Vineyards We welcome you to join us for a tour of our Production Facility, The Ridge, where you can get a first hand look at the wine making process at Closson Chase. We will then guide you through a Futures Tasting of our upcoming Spring Releases, giving you an exclusive sneak peek of our newest vintage as we gather around the fireplace in the cozy boardroom. Tastings take place at The Ridge, 609 Chase Road.
- SOLD OUT Rosehall Run Vineyards Join Associate Winemaker, Lee Baker, in the barrel cellar at Rosehall Run Vineyards for an intimate tasting of our unique planting of Tempranillo and its remarkable ability to express terroir in Prince Edward County. Be the first to experience a vertical of this Tempranillo, featuring a past vintage, the current release, and a future sample from barrel. These extremely limited bottlings offer a truly exclusive opportunity to taste how this site and climate shape the wine over time. To deepen the exploration, we’ll include a classic example of Tempranillo from Spain alongside a benchmark Pinot Noir from the Estate to convey a sense of place, discuss the evolution of our wines, the influence of vintage and cellaring, and the role of grape variety as a vessel for terroir. A series of carefully prepared small bites will accompany the wines to frame and elevate the tasting experience. We will do our best to accommodate dietary restrictions, though alternatives may be limited.

- Grange of Prince Edward In 2024, we introduced an Estate Series of wines crafted exclusively from our vineyards. These wines are a pure reflection of the soul of our vineyard, with each sip telling the story of our land’s richness and diversity. Join our winemaking team as they leads a bespoke barrel cellar tour and tasting of these incredible Estate wines in the historic cellar of our 200 year old barn. This is an opportunity you won’t want to miss!
- Keint-he Winery and Vineyards Our winemaker Connor, will be offering tours of our cellar and wine caves, complete with barrel and tank tastings. Topics of discussion will include, how wines express themselves differently across vintages, between vineyards and as a result of oak treatment choices. Taste. Observe. Learn.

Discover the harmony of County-grown wines alongside thoughtfully prepared bites that highlight the best of local flavours. Enjoy four estate wines, each paired with seasonal fare crafted from County-sourced ingredients by J&W Farms — a true celebration of Prince Edward County in every sip and taste.
- Stanners Vineyard Join Colin for an intimate barrel tasting of our Pinot Noir, sampling wines from distinct vineyards and exploring how aging in older versus newer barrels shapes each wine’s character, influencing aroma, texture, and flavour.

- Norman Hardie Winery Owner & head winemaker Norman Hardie will lead you through a vertical tasting of both current and older vintages of our Chardonnays. Learn about the magic of our limestone terroir and our French oak barrel program, explaining why and how our wines remain youthful and vibrant despite using absolute minimal amounts of sulphur and artisanal, old-school techniques.
Our wines are often seen as dead ringers for Burgundy and are now served in over 50 Michelin Star restaurants across Europe, the U.K. and Japan. Both current and older vintages will be available for purchase.
Enjoy the tasting alongside our house-cured and smoked Ontario steelhead trout. Cured and smoked in house, basted with County maple syrup and served with toasted, locally-baked focaccia and wasabi sour cream
- Harwood Estate Winery For our elevated tasting, join winemaker Jason as he hosts a cellar tour and discussion of our wines before indulging in our 7 wine tasting, paired with a selection of our cheeses and chocolates, and some accents of fruit!
